DriverCare Log Book Assistant app for iPhone and iPad

This app tracks distance travelled in real-time and has a function to play audio to communicate the status of location tracking whilst the app is in the background. This app relies on persistent use of real-time location updates and audio whilst the app is in the background to serve its intended purpose and meet customer needs. The app performs its tracking function over an extended period of time during which the app may go into the background.
